OUR CAMP EMPHASIZES BUILDING THE PLAYER'S SKILL THROUGH FUN, UP TEMPO DRILLS AND GAMES. OUR GOAL IS TO IMPROVE EACH CAMPER'S GAME BY KEEPING THEM ENGAGED THROUGH NOT ONLY FIELD LACROSSE BUT BOX LACROSSE AS WELL. ADDITIONALLY, WE PROVIDE AMPLE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE CAMPERS TO SWIM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY WHILE ALSO PLAYING OTHER FUN GAMES SUCH AS DODGEBALL AND TEAM HANDBALL TO KEEP THE CAMP FUN. WE ALSO END EACH DAY WITH COOL DAILY PRIZES.

LUNCH IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT CAMEL LACROSSE CAMP. WE WILL HAVE PIZZA, CANDY, SNACKS AND DRINKS. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO STORE FOOD THAT IS BROUGHT BY CAMPERS DUE TO FOOD SAFETY REASONS. ANY FOOD BROUGHT BY CAMPERS WILL NEED TO BE KEPT WITH THEM THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND FOOD SAFETY RESPONSIBLITY WILL BE THAT OF THE CAMPER.

2019 Camel Lacrosse Check In Information
Check in for camp will begin at 8:30am at the Connecticut College ice arena (Dayton Arena). We will have tables set up alphabetically right outside the rink. The staff member at the table will check to make sure all paperwork has been sent in (physical form, potassium iodide form (KI) and the consent hold harmless agreement (if you registered online, you will have done this electronically). Our athletic trainer will also be there if there are medical paperwork questions. Also, final payment will be collected at this time for anyone who still has a balance remaining.
PLEASE NOTE THAT CAMPERS CAN NOT PARTICIPATE IN ANY CAMP ACTIVITIES UNTIL ALL MEDICAL PAPERWORK IS TURNED IN. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE!!! OUR CAMP IS INSPECTED ANNUALLY BY THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT AND OUR STAFF WILL ADHERE TO THIS POLICY 100%.
Once checked in, you will be directed into Dayton Arena where you will be given your camp jersey. Also, at this time, the camp is divided into groups by age. Following Day 1, the staff can move campers to different divisions (if agreed upon by the camper) based on ability if the staff feel the camper would benefit from the move. Drop off / Pick-up will be done every morning at Dayton Arena.
Pizza by the slice will be available for purchase each day at the camp store located at Dayton Arena. Along with pizza, the will also be gatorades, water, candy and snow cones to buy.
PLEASE NOTE FOR CAMPERS BRINGING LUNCH.....
CONNECTICUT STATE LAW REQUIRES YOUR FOOD TO BE IN BROUGHT IN A CONTAINER WITH ICE. EACH CAMPER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HOLDING ONTO THEIR OWN LUNCH.
Campers are required to bring all equipment including: helmet w/ mouthpiece, stick, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, cleats and sneakers. Goalies mush have throat guards and chest protectors.
PLEASE BE SURE TO BRING SNEAKERS FOR DAILY INDOOR GAMES!!!!!!
There will be pool time available each day for each group. Campers need to bring there own towels. There will be a lifeguard on hand and each camper will need to pass a light swim test to swim freely.
